Please see the below email that was circulated from HR last week regarding the new providers of the Employee Assistance Programme:-
As part of its wellbeing programme the University offers all staff access to a free and confidential Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). This service has recently been reviewed and from 1 July 2016 will continue under a different provider – Health Assured (via Health Management Ltd).
The provision is very similar to the existing one and is available for OU employees and their immediate family members. The service offers expert advice, information, counselling and support to help with life’s challenges and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week online or via a Freephone number.
I would like to draw your attention to the Health Assured leaflet which outlines the services available and contains a wallet sized pop-out card printed with the relevant contact details. If you would like a paper copy of this leaflet please contact the usual staffing team contact for your Unit.
Details of how to access the EAP will continue to be available through the University’s Wellbeing+ site and on the main HR Intranet site A-Z under ‘EAP’.

The Shuttle Bus to East Campus has now been withdrawn just as the clocks go back and the dark nights are drawing in. No provision has been made for staff to travel from one part of the University to the other. An Escort can be booked by contacting Estates Liaison Line, however, this service cannot be guaranteed during peak times.
